LATE MODEL RULES
1/8 Open Nitro Late Model Rules:
Section 1:
Chassis:
1-1 Must be 1/8 production based 4 WD buggy drive
train.(Losi,Ofna,X-Ray and so on)
1-2 No offsetting a-arms or narrowing of a-arms
1-3 Must have dog bone center drive train, no on-road
drive trains.
1-4 No one off chassis. Example: If you have a home
made chassis you must make one for anyone who wants
one at a reasonable price or let anyone copy it. As a
manufacturer or a person who would make one for
someone you don't have to let them copy it.
1-5 Wheel base: 12 5/8" to 13"
1-6 Width: 13" max. - 11 1/4" min.
1-7 Any and all parts must be flush or in side the tread
width. 1/8 tolerance.
1-8 All chassis and tires must remain inside the body.
1-9 No metal or carbon fiber front bumpers.
1-10 Must have foam on the front bumper.
Section 2:
Motors:
2-1 Any .28 or less
2-2 Modding is legal.
Section 3:
Bodies:
3-1 Molded one- piece bodies only.
3-2 No additional wings, flaps, spoilers, wickers, vents or
doohickeys will be allowed except what's in sections 4,5
&9.
3-3 A hole or holes for motor cooling
3-4 Decking is allowed
3-5 There will be no metal body parts of any kind.
3-6 All bodies must be approved.

Section 4:
Side Dam specs:
4-1 Running a Side Dam is the tracks choice.
4-2 Side dam front leading edge must be at least 4" from
center of left front spindle with the wheels straight.
4-3 Side dam can be 5" tall from deck at it's highest point,
and cannot extend past rear spoiler.
4-4 Must have two tethers at least 8" apart.
4-5 Side dam must be on left side!
Section 5:
Rear Spoiler Specs:
5-1 Rear spoiler can only be as wide as the body at the
rear quarter panels.
5-2 Rear spoiler 3" max from deck.
5-3 The end caps must be a triangle shape.(See template)
You may have one fin on the spoiler and two side caps.
The third fin must also be the same dimension as side cap.
It can be located anywhere on the spoiler between the
two side caps. The fin must be in line with the side caps
on the front leading edge.
Section 6:
Wheel & Tire Specs:
6-1 Tracks choice on which tires are legal (Foam or
Rubber) from approved tire list!
6-2 All wheels must be 17mm buggy based.
Foam tire specs:
6-3 Max tire diameter- 106mm Max tire width- 46mm
Spec rubber tires:
6-4 There will not be any grooving or sipping of the
rubber tires.
6-5 All rubber tires are pre-mount and must remain stock
out of the box.
6-6 Traction compounds are legal.

Approval process:
13-1 Motor, tire and body approval will be done on a
submit with a test and trial period by the DLMRA. Any new
product will have a 60 day period after approval before it
will be made legal to run.
Section 14:
Tracks:
14-1 The track has final say on rules enforcement!
Section 15:
15-1 The DLMRA is not responsible for any actions by
tracks or racers!
CORR RULES
ESC: Any roar approved ESC.
Battery: Any 25c 2s LIPO or any 6 cell NIMH up to a 4600 mah.
Gearing: Stock or upgrade.
Transmission: Gear or a ball diff.
Radio: Stock or upgrade.
Servo: Stock or upgrade.
Shocks: Stock or upgrade.
Motor: 12 turn Titan, Reedy raidon 17 turn, HPI 15 turn part# 1146 or any ROAR approved 17.5 Brushless.
Tires: Any of the stock CORR tires or the CORR style Bowties, Goosebumps, or Caliber.
Body: Has to cover the tires.
Mudflaps: optional!
